NATROSES began when our founders watched fresh roses wilt within days of every meaningful celebration. Anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day—each bouquet carried emotion, yet the flowers themselves faded quickly. We asked a different question: what if the rose could hold that feeling longer?
That question led us to preserved floristry—a craft that replaces natural sap with a plant-based glycerin solution at peak bloom. The result is a real rose that looks and feels alive, yet needs none of the care fresh flowers demand. Today NATROSES serves gift-givers, interior stylists and romantics who want beauty that endures.
The preservation process
Every NATROSES bloom starts as a fresh Ecuadorian rose selected at peak openness—when petals are fullest but not yet fragile. Within hours of harvest, roses enter our preservation bath. A gradual dehydration process draws moisture out while glycerin and natural dyes move in, maintaining cellular structure and vivid color.
The process takes seven to ten days per batch. Rushing any step produces brittle petals or dull tones—we refuse both. After preservation, each rose is individually inspected, trimmed and arranged by hand. Nothing ships until it meets our touch-and-visual standard: soft petals, saturated color, natural silhouette.
Quality we stand behind
Quality at NATROSES is not a marketing word—it is a checklist. We evaluate petal integrity, color consistency, stem flexibility and arrangement balance before any piece leaves our studio. Roses with minor imperfections are removed from production lines entirely, not tucked into secondary packaging.
Our glass domes use optically clear borosilicate glass that resists clouding and scratching. Buckets are lined with velvet or satin and weighted for stability on dressers and console tables. Ribbons, tags and outer boxes are designed to photograph beautifully—because unboxing is part of the gift experience.

Simple care rules
Preserved roses thrive on neglect—within reason. Keep them away from direct sunlight, heat vents and humid bathrooms. Do not water them. A soft dry brush removes dust every few months. Avoid crushing petals when moving domes. Follow these rules and most arrangements look stunning for one to three years.

Studio craft today
NATROSES operates as a small studio team—not a mass factory. Arrangers train for weeks before handling premium batches. We batch by color to keep dye lots consistent within each arrangement. Seasonal peaks around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day mean we plan inventory months ahead so quality never slips for volume.
We source roses from farms with responsible labor practices and cold-chain logistics. Preservation chemistry uses plant-based glycerin rather than harsh industrial solvents—a choice that costs more per stem but protects both artisans and final texture.
